School-based Services

Coachella Valley Unified School District

The Latino Commission has therapists at various school sites at CVUSD. If your student attends a school within the district, you may contact their school and ask to speak to one of our therapists.

RCOE | CARESpace

The Latino Commission also partners with the Riverside County Office of Education to provide mental health services at 6 different CAREspace locations across Riverside County. CAREspace is part of the Mental Health Initiative put forth by the Riverside County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Edwin Gomez. The initiative aims to address the overall wellness needs of students and the community beyond the classroom.

Through our CAREspace program, we provide individual counseling, group counseling, family counseling, case management, and referrals to adjunct services.

Each location also offers staff trainings, parent workshops, and classroom

presentations on a variety of wellness-related topics. Services are available at no cost, and are offered in English and Spanish. E

Each CAREspace serves as a supplement to mental health programs and services offered throughout all 23 school districts in Riverside County.
